Ted Nottingham has a video :Being Thankful. About 9:50 he comments about a technique called "Stop, Listen, Go. I think he is commenting on same technique that the Benedictine monk Stendelrast also comments on in a Ted x talk on gratitude. Both teachers I think suggest to periodically during the day especially if we are ill at ease to stop what we are doing for say 20-40 seconds and ask what are we inwardly experiencing and ask do we need to give thanks for anything small or larger and or do we need to forgive anyone or group of people. Have been trying it numerous times today and am feeling a peace seldom felt. Perhaps Ted Nottingham would like to comment or anyone . I think I complain inwardly without realizing it. And this exercise verify it. Have a grace filled year. Blessings, Steve.

Hi Steve
I find for me the use of the Jesus prayer provides a profound tool to bring me back into the present moment. With now being the only true reality-pray without ceasing. Easier said than done at times but with the miraculous ability to catapult me into the eternal now. Peace be with you and thank you for sharing your experience.
Blessings
Mark
Indeed I find this exercise extremely helpful-during these interludes I internally say the Jesus prayer. I hope this continues to give you the peace you have experienced. Jesus is Lord 🙏
