Fellow companions - as one who is familiar with forums, I felt inclined to offer a few orientation tips that may assist.
Once you have signed in to the forum, you will find yourself in GENERAL DISCUSSIONS where you're able to post. You can select the love icon to show your support for a message; comment on someone else's post; as well as start your own topic of interest. To start your own post (often referred to in forums as a topic or thread), go to the tab @ the top right that says Create New Post.
To add a comment in response to another members post, you can either click on the small Comment icon located @ the bottom left of the post, or scroll down to find the large box option @ the end of the thread, that is located under all prior comments, which displays your name & space to write.
If, on the other hand, you wish to respond to another person who has written on the thread, go directly to where they have written, select Reply, & you will see that their name becomes highlighted - for example, @Lara Rose. This will notify the person within the thread that you have responded to them directly, rather than having commented on the original post. This will show in the layout as a Reply sub-section within the main thread, & ensures that future readers will be able to follow conversations with ease within the main post if they wish to. This simple comment | reply protocol enables flow & order as forum discussion & membership grows.
For the sake of identification, introduction & allowing a fellow member to know who you are, you can adapt your profile to better reflect who you are.
By default each person is given a generic profile picture, which is known as an avatar. Alongside the avatar is your email | user name. To personalise these, select your user name, & you will be shown your own profile page. The box on the top left can be edited to upload an avatar image of your choice (mine is a rose) & is also where the user name can be changed, so that your preferred forum name will show when you post.
On the right hand side is an ABOUT area, where you can share a little about yourself, & post another image or a video, if you like. This option is wonderful for building community, as it offers members insight into who you are & why you are here. All the above can be edited & changed @ your leisure.
The 3rd section in the profile area gives you a summary of all your previous posts, comments & more. Included in this list is Blog Comments. This is a unique option in a forum, & one Im very much looking forward to utilising. It means that folk like myself, who love to write, can add a personal section that is optional viewing for other members. You will be able to see another member's Blog if you select their name to view their profile information, & then select Blog Comments. I love this addition as it will ensure that prolific posters do not flood the forum, yet can still write to their hearts content.
I hope this helps.
Happy posting. X

Hi there,
My name is Michael, I haven’t been posting in awhile, but have been connected with Ted for a few year now. My wife and I enjoy watching his video’s, usually on Sunday as part of our reconnection efforts. I am a forty year fourth way student who was in a 4th Way school that Ted also studied in many years ago in California, which is where I live. Locals call it SLO, you know it as San Luis Obispo. Look forward to learning more about this knowledge that is so center to my journey.
Hello, everyone. I just joined the forum and as I'm looking around, reading posts, and familiarizing myself with everything, I noticed that I don't see where we sign out. Have I missed it somehow?
Blessings to all!
Another consideration is email notifications. You can change how many forum emails you receive by selecting the option @ the bottom of the email. Under the 'Check it Out' link is a small print, link option that reads Manage your email notifications here. This will lead you to a page where you can deselect forum & blog notification options, to minimise your email prompts accordingly.
Thank you, Lara. I appreciate this.
