I don't know if you guys have watched Ted's video on symbolism in the book of Revelations or not where he discussed Hebrews using GeMatria or not, but I've discovered something interesting using English Gematria.
With the simplicity of:
A=1, B= 2, C= 3, D= 4, E = 5 all the way until Z= 26 ...if you add these words together they all equal the same umber 74.
CROSS = 74
ENGLISH = 74 ETHEREAL = 74 GEMATRIA = 74
GOSPEL = 74 HEAVENS = 74
JESUS = 74
MESSIAH = 74 THE GOOD = 74
If you add Jesus is Lord = 151
If you add Jesus Christ .. = 151
If you add Holy Spirit = 151
God Almighty = 121
1+5+1= 7
1+2+1=4
God has the numbers 74 ...not totaling 74, but G= 7, D=4
Christ = 77
7 is known as God's number of perfection hence G for God.

I was just now searching for the video of Ted's that you mention above. Am yet to find it (likely due to the ignorant & sweeping deletions of Ted's work on youtube), so if you have a link, I would appreciate it. Meanwhile, I came across this video, which I found interesting. As one who has only just begun to read the Bible (though I have been listening to teachings from the book for a number of years) I consider myself a newbie & 'outsider'. As such I realise I'm yet to learn so much - & most importantly - I now face the opportunity to UNLEARN the distorted teachings that plague so much of christian indoctrination. Thnx for sending me on this little trail of research, The Incarnation. Next I will look for teachings directly on gematria. Bless. (For my own viewing I slowed the video down, which helped a lot with both intensity of the sound, as well as ease for reading & considering what is being shared).
Interesting. I would love to understand more about the significance. You mention the symbolism of 7. What about 4, & why these numbers combined? Will look for the video of Ted's that you mention, to see what I might learn from there also.
